About Us

Simmons Stein was established in 1989 by Gary Simmons and Jeffrey Stein in the heart of London’s West End. We are a two partner niche firm specialising in all aspects of Property Law. The emergence of the smaller niche firms has ended the demarcation between the large City firms and the smaller style firms. We have achieved this by establishing close ties with the leading property barristers and surveyors in the country, which enables us to draw upon a wealth of outside expertise to compliment the day-to-day work of the practice.

In 2007 we relocated our offices to Stanmore Middlesex where we were based for 11 years. As a result of a redevelopment we have relocated our office to Finchley Central.

Firms such as ours offer both private and commercial clients the expertise that used to be unique to the large City firms but without the high cost often associated with such firms. It allows us to provide a very personal service which is both commercial and pragmatic. Our expertise has increased to keep pace with the more complex needs of our clients.

Often clients require immediate legal assistance. We are able to provide assistance on short notice to meet such a client’s demand. We are used to and enjoy working within tight time restraints.
